TEMPORARY VISITATION RESTRICTIONS in Effect March 13, 2020.
Our number one priority is resident and staff safety. To prevent the spread of contagions or
infectious diseases like the COVID-19, we are implementing visitation restrictions
as advised by the Department of Health and the CDC.
Only personnel who are “Absolutely necessary for the operations of the community” include but may not
be limited to, home staff, contracted and emergency healthcare providers, contractors conducting crucial
on-site maintenance, and governmental representatives and regulators and their contractors.
Visitors and personnel will be screened. Screening questions include questions about exposure to COVID-19
and assessing visitors and personnel for cough, shortness of breath,
and body temperatures of 100.4 degrees and higher.
Hello! I'm Corey, and I'd love to tell you a little about our community!
As soon as you enter our front door you’ll receive a warm, friendly welcome from our fantastic staff and wonderful residents, which will make you immediately feel right at home.
To begin a typical day in our community you’ll head down to the dining room for a home-cooked, farmer-style breakfast made to order! For smaller appetites fresh fruit and oatmeal are also available. Every morning after breakfast we start our day with devotions followed by our “Seniorcise” class. The rest of the day is full of an array of interests and activities to choose from. Our activities director always has something wonderful arranged, although sometimes a few residents prefer a relaxing afternoon by the warm fire with a good book. We also go out weekly to lunch and check out what is new in the community.
Every Sunday we are blessed to have local church members come to Hearth & Home to share worship service with us, although some residents still enjoy attending service at their own church. And on Wednesdays, we have a Bible study class available.
We could sit and go on and on about how special our community is, but we think our residents say it best!
Josephine has lived here for 8 years and says “I could not have found a better home for me…”
Donna says, “ I enjoy playing the piano and the exercises. I truly appreciate the staff for all their caring help, and always enjoy the good food.”
Jane says “I like the home-like atmosphere and the friends I have made here.”
We extend a sincere invitation to anyone who’d like to come and visit us. We highly recommend coming in for one of our delicious home-cooked meals! We’re always up to something enjoyable, so we also encourage you to visit our Events page. Check out what activities you might want to join us for and stop by. Hope to see you soon!
